On Sunday 23rd November players from PSG U11’s travelled to Wembley Stadium to cheer on England Women in their historic match against Germany.
England Head Coach Mark Sampson had said “….. I really hope the whole of the football community comes out in force to support the team”, and girls from PSG responded by joining a record breaking 45,000+ to cheer on their heroes.
The match marked the first time that the England Women’s team have played at the new Wembley and will form part of the team’s preparations for next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Three Lions qualified for next summer’s showpiece, which will be staged in Canada, after winning ten out of ten of their Group 6 qualifiers and conceding just one goal.
Despite the disappointing result the girls all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, with many visiting Wembley Stadium for the first time.
